A new report on the benefits Village Halls can bring to rural communities has been published this week by the Rural Community Action Network (RCAN) based on a national survey of nearly 10,000 Halls.

A press release from the Rural Services Network says that with average rural house prices at £256,000 and average rural area wages at £21,000, the young have no chance of buying a home and are being forced out of the countryside.
