Brading Centre

This building, in the lap of the Primary School on West Street, became the offices of Brading Town Council in 2002. It has since become a vibrant centre of community activity through the range of services if is now able to provide.

In addition to the Town Clerk’s office, the reception desk offers a warm welcome and advice to visitors, a book exchange library is free to all, computers are available for public use, printing and photocopying is provided at reasonable charges and rooms are available for local meetings: more details on the other pages in this section.
It is used for regular meetings by the Women’s Institute, the Book Group and Kynge’s Town FC’s Committee. Use by local groups is free during the day and charged at ₤5 an hour during evenings.

Although currently available funding limits its normal opening hours to 9am – noon on Monday – Thursday, it has an average of 250 visitors each week.
