This building, in the lap of the Primary School on West Street, became the offices of Brading Town Council in 2002. It has since become a vibrant centre of community activity through the range of services if is now able to provide. In addition to the Town Clerk’s office, the reception desk offers a warm welcome and advice to visitors, a book exchange library is free to all, computers are available for public use, printing and photocopying is provided at reasonable charges and rooms are available for local meetings: more details on the other pages in this section. Although currently available funding limits its normal opening hours to 9am – noon on Monday – Thursday, it has an average of 250 visitors each week. |
